The Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) Visa Subclass 191 allows
eligible holders of regional provisional skilled visas to obtain
Australian permanent residency.
This visa is designed for migrants who have complied with the
conditions of their regional provisional visa and met taxable income
requirements while living and working in designated regional areas
of Australia. Once granted, Subclass 191 provides full permanent
residency rights, including unrestricted work rights, Medicare access,
and a pathway to Australian citizenship.
